Overview
A Technical Writer is responsible for producing high-quality documentation appropriate to its intended audience.
Responsibilities:
• Write clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy for websites, press releases
and media alerts, social media and more
• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and
the documentation requirements
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is
appropriate for its intended audience
• Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
• Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
• Create and maintain the information architecture
• Develop social media advertising solutions for clients
• Create and analyze marketing reports to monitor client objectives
• Provide guidance and assistance on social media strategy under the direction of
manager/management
• Participate in group brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for the
organization and its clients
Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar kind of role
• Graduate in English, communication, and journalism/certificate in marketing.
• Knowledgeable writer and editor familiar with various domains of business.
• Experience in all current social media marketing including Facebook, Instagram,
LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.
• Preferable experienced in the IT industry, technologies, and relevant trends in technical documentation.
• Self-starter with a team attitude as well as the ability to work independently, utilizing
sound judgment and professionalism in a high-demand/multi-task environment.
