JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities of Finance Strategist:

  1. Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
  2. Conducting financial analysis and modeling to identify opportunities for growth and cost savings.
  3. Providing expert advice and guidance to management on financial matters.
  4. Evaluating and managing financial risks to ensure the long-term stability of the organization.
  5. Developing financial plans and budgets to support the organization’s strategic initiatives.
  6. Monitoring and analyzing market trends and providing recommendations for strategic investments.
  7. Identifying and evaluating potential mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic partnerships.
  8. Collaborating with other departments to ensure that financial strategies align with the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
  9. Communicating financial information to stakeholders and presenting financial reports to management and other key decision-makers.
  10. Continuously monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of financial strategies and making adjustments as necessary.

Requirements of Finance Strategist;

  1. A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related field.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills.
  4. Strong understanding of financial markets, investment instruments and financial regulations
  5. Strong ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for growth and cost savings.
  6. Strong communication and presentation skills for presenting financial information to management and other stakeholders.
  7. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and other financial software.
  8. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy and precision.
  9. Strong ability to work independently and take ownership of projects and responsibilities.
  10. Strong ability to work in a team and collaborate with other departments.
  11. Relevant professional certifications such as CFA, CPA or MBA is a plus.
