Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Documentation Writer with experience in JSON, YAML, and XML, as well as Postman collection and API testing in Postman. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, with a focus on creating clear and concise documentation for software developers and end users.

Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain technical documentation for software products, including user guides, API documentation, and developer guides.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand and document complex software features and functionality.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easy to understand.
• Work with stakeholders to identify and address documentation gaps.
• Experience in creating and maintaining Postman collections and testing APIs using Postman.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a technical writer or similar role.
• Strong experience with JSON, YAML, and XML.
• Experience with software development and technical concepts.
• Experience in creating and maintaining Postman collections and testing APIs using Postman.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with documentation tools such as Swagger, Aglio.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git
• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science or a related field.

Desired but not required:

• Experience with Markdown or AsciiDoc.
• Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Illustrator or Visio
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha or Jasmine.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
