Job Description
Job Summary:
This role supports global stakeholders and partners of Dotdash Meredith by conducting financial reporting and analysis across various departments such as Fulfillment, Publisher relations, Synapse etc., while also supporting the invoice process.
Primary Responsibilities
Prepares financial month-end reports and supports the invoicing process, across various financial departments
Prepares weekly financial reports using MicroStrategy and MS Excel
Reconciles remit payments made to partner publishers on a daily basis
Reconciles credit memos with the vendor’s receivables system to maintain data accuracy
Analyzes and prepares reports, based on checks and other payments, sent by vendors
Supports problem resolution (e.g. file failure alerts), by tracking and coordinating the issues raised
Creates and manages magazine title lists for Synapse’s campaigns
Analyzes “closed loop” reporting designed to ensure robust communication between Synapse and its partners
Proactively assists stakeholders in publisher authorizing and tracking projects
Mandatory Skills
MBA in Finance or B.E./B.Tech with 1-3 years of experience
Basic Finance and Statistics knowledge
Data and Numerical orientation
Working knowledge of intermediate MS Excel (Intermediate formulas and functions such as CountIf, SumIf, Pivot Tables etc.)
Good communication skills
Good To Have
Basic SQL knowledge
Working Hours: 1 PM – 10 PM IST
Work Location: RMZ Eco World, Bengaluru (Currently – Work from Home)
