Job Summary (purpose)
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the team & deliver of Team goals – Be a central contact point for a group or region of subsidiaries in the CBS.
- Ensure periodic review of SOBP and drive SOBP harmonization.
- Work with other process teams as required supporting key issue resolution.
- Ensure escalations, if any are attended to and follow thru for resolution to mutual alignment.
- Manage a team performing day to day process activities.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintenance of the integrity and accuracy of transaction recording (journals, adjustments, allocations, I/Co operations) on a daily basis.
- The periodic closing of the statutory books for the serviced subsidiary in accordance with the period end schedule.
- Creation, issuance & presentation of related Financial Statements after any appropriate eliminations or consolidations, together with the provision of selected government information.
- The reconciliation of closings between different SAP modules, with Banks and between sets of books where appropriate, The enforcement of Approval Policies & Limits, while supervising the adequate SOX Reviews and documentation, managing the remediation of any exceptions.
- Coordinate with external & internal auditors and ensure control environment at all times.
- Review team goals and KPIs & identify opportunities to simplify & drive process efficiency. Prepare & present MIS for process performance & ensure corrective actions implemented for learnings.
- Lead continuous improvement projects & participate in significant company level projects to ensure smooth implementations & exhibit digital skillsets.
- Review consolidation of financial statements for quarterly closing of books of accounts to ensure quality of financials reported.
- Ensure review & delivery of precise Bank reconciliations with commentary for open items and escalate for ensuring closing of open items on a timely basis.
- Review GL analyses, open item clearing and escalate as required for resolution & present GL analyses to Regional & Business Partners to enable necessary actions.
- Review of team performance and provide and provide relevant feedback, discover training needs of team and coach accordingly.
- Identify and train team members to create knowledge backups.
Required Qualifications: (Education, Knowledge required, Skills (language & other) etc.)
- MBA or CA.
- Proficient knowledge of Indian GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS.
- Proficient knowledge of Google Suite.
- SAP experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
