Overview

Combines marketing and social media management skills to architect and enhance company social media presences, including interacting with customers, promoting brand-focused interactive and engaging content, and expanding opportunities for revenue.

Required Experience: 0 – 2 Years
Key Responsibilities:
● Creates marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation, and implementation schedules
● Ensures brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various clients, including advertising, product development, and brand management
● Collects customer data and analyses interactions and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns
● Grows and expands company social media presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram through organic and paid activities
● Researches and monitors activity of company competitors
● Creating content, including text posts, video and images for use on social media
● Promoting products, services and content over social media, in a way that is consistent with an organization’s brand and social media strategy
● Developing new social media strategies and campaigns
● Managing a budget to be spent on promoting social media posts and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising
● Keeping track of data and analyzing the performance of social media campaigns
● Collaborating with colleagues from across marketing departments to ensure branding is consistent

Key skills for Social media marketing managers:
● A knowledge of and an interest in the methods organizations use to promote themselves through social media is a necessity
● Strong communication and presentation skills
● Analytical ability
● An ability to multitask, to work on a number of projects at once
● Expert level skills in using and navigating social media networks’ native web apps, 3rd party social media tools, and “the internet” to run it all.
● Marketing Mind, Strategic Thinking, Relationship Building
● Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention
● Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach
● Ability to manage and supervise a diverse group of employees and simultaneously work toward many company initiatives at once.
