Full Job Description
Job brief:

1. Off & On-page search engine optimization to improve search engine rankings of existing and new content.

2. Identify the best keywords for the website.

3. Content development using effective search keywords; should be able to identify low-hanging keywords.

4. Making changes in design, content, and links as per requirements.

5. Using strategies to increase the inbound traffic.

6. To use and develop the latest, search engine-friendly techniques to attract new incoming links to the content.

Responsibilities

· Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, and identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns

· Track, report, and analyze website Google analytics and campaigns

· Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing

· Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization using tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, etc.

· Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations

· Research and analyze competitor backlinks

· Develop and implement the right link-building strategy

· Work with the web development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code

· Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming

· Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.

Inter team functions

Work closely with social media & content teams for SEO-friendly content
Work closely with the website development team to suggest ideas for SEO-friendly website design.
Develop and implement link-building campaigns
Research and administer social media tools and create a posting and auto-scheduling the same

Requirements and skills

  • Sound knowledge of industry best practices and the latest search engine algorithms.
  • Deep Understanding of Technology Behind Search Engines, Google Webmaster Guidelines, Search Friendly Websites,
  • Google Penalties & Recovery
  • Deep Knowledge of ON Page & OFF Page activities
  • Knowledge of HTML & CMS Panels like WordPress
  • Knowledge of PHP, CSS, JavaScript
  • Expertise with Excel Reporting (Filters, VLOOKUP, Calculation Formulas, Pivot, Graph, Chart)
  • Hands-on experience with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics is desired.
  • They are well versed with presentation tools PPT, SlideShare, Scribd, etc.
  • Knowledge of Similarweb, Google Keyword Planner
  • Content Writing, Posting, Sharing
  • Pro-Active in Social Media and Community Engagement
