Job Description
Yourjob responsibilities will include,
Experience in research on technical propositions relating to indirect taxes and judicial principles
Drafting suitable replies to enquiry letters and other communications from tax offices
Supporting clients to appropriately replying to show cause notices
Drafting and filing of appeals in relation to order received
Liaising with tax offices from time to time in relation to communications, notices or orders received
Regularly updating technical knowledge byweekly reading and discussions on case laws and other updates relevant to theindirect tax field
Supporting the team with technical trainingsand discussions
Handling GST advisory and upcoming complianceswith / without help of ASP’s and GSP’s

Desired Candidate Profile
A strongpassion and interest for indirect tax, having inclination for handlinglitigation matters
Shouldhave handled indirect tax work during articleship and / or upto 1.5 years postqualification mainly GST and service tax
Comfortable with department liasoning
Updatedon latest case laws and recent changes in the GST law
Ability to work in a team
Proficientknowledge of using Computer systems, Government websites, Tally and Excel.
