Job DescriptionResponsibilities and Expectations
• Work with the WAVE Tactical Teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
• Maintain existing customer facing documentation and make necessary improvements
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
• Develop training material to help end-users deploy, provision and use of the WAVE Tactical Products
• Maintain and improve the existing WAVE Tactical documentation architecture
• Prepare to collaborate with a Geographical Distributed team
• Partner in the development of the new features by participating in the Functional Requirements and Software Design Reviews • Prepare to be a member of an Agile Team
• Be accountable for the work committed in a Sprint
Qualifications
• At least 5 years proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
• Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
• Excellent communication and written skills in English
• Strong working knowledge of tech writer tools including Adobe Frame Maker, XML, Google Workspace Tools, Microsoft Office • Familiarity with the SDLC, Agile Methodologies and software development best practices.
• University degree with relevant experience in Technical Writing
