Job description
The Role: ESG Analyst

Specifically: The role is of an analyst in the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) space

  • The role will involve analysis of a companys performance on environmental, social and governance (ESG) parameters.
  • Involve in validation and enrichment of ESG data depicting the respective ESG risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate and support in developing tools for the effective integration of ESG analysis and valuation process across asset classes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform towards timely and error-free deliveries as per client requirements
  • Source ESG related periodic entity reports as per defined portfolio thereby building up the client database
  • Analyse ESG related reports for interpretation
  • Maintain logs and records as per project specifications
  • Ability to make routine decisions in accordance with project requirements

The Candidate:

1. Qualifications/Experience Required

  • MBA (Finance)/M. Com or equivalent qualification in Finance
  • Prior knowledge (ESG related certifications) or experience on ESG preferable
  • Fresher or 0-3 years of business finance or related experience

Key Skills Required

  • Strong, proven quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong interpretation skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Should be well versed with MS Excel. Advanced Excel would be preferred
  • Highly organized and efficient with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines • Outcome oriented and ability to work well in a team
